Rocco is the backbone of Haggerty VW in Oak Lawn. He is a true treasure - a throwback to serious salesmen and managers of my parents' generation. He does everything humanly possible to make the deal happen and is honest with you if he can't. I have bought two cars there over a three year period with great satisfaction. He knows all the incentives out there and isn't afraid to use them to make the deal happen. In addition to Rocco, the support staff and service department are excellent - courteous, upfront, and always helpful. The VW's I've owned needed very little service, but when they did, Kenny was the "go to" guy in the service dept. I can't imagine finding a dealer that will treat me better than Haggerty VW and I'm just not limiting my comparison to VW dealers. Thank you once again to Haggerty VW staff. You guys truly are the best

I purchased a Toureg from this dealership and was so impressed with the process that I recommended this dealership to my son, who bought, and one of our closest friends, whom also bought. I have had my car in for regular maintenance and once to deal with an issue and everytime I have used the service dept. I was completely satisfied with the results. All the work was done in a timely fashion and I found the staff very helpful and willing to answer all of my inquiries. I was even given rides to and from the airport while my car was being serviced. To Whom It May Concern:
Thank you for your help fixing our car. We were on vacation recently and while driving through the Chicago area our VW Passat check engine light started flashing. I immediately imagined the worst and contacted your service department to check it out. We arrived after hours but your service manager stayed later to make sure we ok and received help. After a diagnostic check-up and looking the car over for a few minutes, your service people figured the light had gone on most likely because I had not secured the gas cap properly. After resetting the light for a minimal charge and tightening the gas cap we were on the road again. It's nice to know there are trustworthy vw dealerships outside of Riverside California. Whenever I think of Chicago and Illinois, I will forever think of friendly people genuinely concerned about the welfare of others. All from my brief encounter with your dealership.
